Which reminds me. While I've seen that interesting headlight in a few previous posts, I can't recollect you ever talking about it. I hope you'll correct that oversight. It's not your usual run of the mill setup. I suspect others would also find your details of interest.
Not much to say, really. That's an old-school halogen Schmidt E6 light attached to a Paul Components light mount threaded into my mid-fork braze on. The wire runs down the inside of the fork and is held on with zip ties. In the photo above the wire isn't connected to anything because my 650b wheel with the SON dynamo hub is on my other bike.
I hear the new LED lights are better. I'd like to have one on each bike, but the E6's work well enough for now.
