The patches of green, and the occasional budding tree limbs, are the appetizer for spring perfection. The main course is on its way. Mid-winter excursion fantasies must now give way to implementation. It will not be long before summer heat makes sleeping outdoors a challenge.NOW is the time for the early season S24O. I was thinking the same thing. There is a short window in the spring and fall that makes for comfortable camping. I've still got some equipment to gather but I may get an S24o done before the summer heat arrives.
I'm considering an attempt this Friday. If you and/or other members of BABBLE have a mind to join me for Lake Ray Roberts overnighter sometime, let me know.
That road looks absolutely tantalizing. Can't wait to get back on my feet and out there!
I want to do an S24O. I have never done any camping by myself. Plus I am a big chicken LOL.
May be we can do a group S240 some place and show the newbies like me the ropes?
