With five bikes to maintain, I think about paring down also. Even though each bike has it's purpose, I'd love to get down to one or two. Multiple wheelsets for one bike is great idea.

Would the new equation be n=n+(w/2) where the number of bikes needed equals the number of bikes you have plus the number of wheels in your quiver divided by 2? Looks like I'd better forget math and stick with medicine!
